FAQ

Answers to common pricing questions

Is trust accounting included in every plan?
Trust accounting is included in Firm and Enterprise. Practice is intended for smaller firms that don't operate trust accounts, or that run trust accounting elsewhere and need the rest of CoreCounsel's workflow tooling.
Where is client data stored?
Firm-tier data is hosted in Australian data regions by default. Enterprise customers can choose a specific region and configure residency to meet bar or regulator requirements.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed annually in advance, per seat. Seats can be added mid-term on a pro-rata basis. Monthly billing is available on request for Firm and Enterprise tiers.
Do you offer a trial?
We run a structured pilot rather than a self-serve trial. After a demonstration we scope a pilot with a small number of seats so your firm can evaluate CoreCounsel against real matters.
Can we migrate from another platform?
Yes. Firm and Enterprise onboarding includes data migration support for matter records, documents, and trust history from common Australian legal platforms.
What about data security and audit?
CoreCounsel operates with SOC 2-aligned controls, role-based access, and audit trails on financially sensitive activity. Enterprise adds SSO/SAML, configurable retention, and dedicated security review support.
